We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance & Administration Officer to join our team and help drive operational efficiency, financial integrity, and administrative excellence.

About the Role:

The Finance & Administration Officer will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial management, budgeting, reporting, and administrative operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, supporting decision-making, and maintaining smooth internal processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Monitor budgets and financial forecasts
  • Handle payroll, statutory filings, and tax compliance
  • Oversee internal controls and audit processes
  • Support grant/project financial reporting (if applicable)

Administration:

  • Maintain office systems and administrative procedures
  • Oversee procurement, inventory, and asset management
  • Manage contracts, insurance, and service providers
  • Support HR with onboarding, record-keeping, and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance and administration roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial management tools
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Added Advantage:

  • CPA/ACCA certification (or progress toward one)
  • Experience in donor-funded projects or NGO financial reporting
  • Familiarity with Tanzanian tax and labor laws (if local)
